Kristin Fisher is joining CNN in 2021. She'll be CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. In her new position she will cover all aspects of space, from NASA and the newly created Space Force, to commercial space firms and the emergence of space tourism. Being the daughter of two NASA astronauts, Kristin was raised in the space industry and spent the last five years covering the Trump and Biden Administration's space policies as a White House Correspondent for FOX News. While covering the two presidential impeachment cases and the presidential campaign for 2020, and both administrations attempts to stop the spread of coronavirus Kristin also covered a variety of other things. The reporter also was on numerous trips with President and Vice President as well as a secret trip to Afghanistan together with the former president Donald Trump. Kristin was a fixture in the regional news market of Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Washington, D.C. for nearly a decade before joining the CBS network. She won one Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. for her work as a CBS affiliate's single-man reporter. Kristin used her experience behind the lens to start Field Mouse Films. The company specialized in producing documentary-style films. It was also a favourite of corporate clients like Uber, Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin received her Bachelor of Science Diploma in Journalism from Boston University. She is married to her husband at Washington, D.C., and is the mother of a 3-year-old daughter.
